About Us
Jamie Bloom:
I have been teaching preschool for 13 years. I am the mother of six children. Their ages range from 3 months to 15 years. We are always coming up with new ways to keep everyone entertained and busy. Last summer my older kids wanted a job and my younger kids wanted something fun to do and that is why we started our 'Summer Camp.' I am the Camp Director. I assist in writing lesson plans, gathering information, and making sure everyone is safe and having a good time.
Michaela:
I will begin 10th grade this fall. I am the first of six children and am always surrounded by younger children! I enjoy Art and Writing as well as Architecture. I am not only the art instructor, but I am also the "Technical Producer" for DBDC. My job includes photography, writing lesson plans, and updating this website.
Benjamin:
I will be entering 8th grade in the fall. I am the second of six children. My favorite subject is Science and I want to be a scientist when I grow up. I love experimenting and learning new things. I am a Boy Scout. My job includes writing lesson plans, supervising and assisting with experiments, and handling anything too gross for my mother and sister!
